Here we have a great specimen of Andersonite in sandstone matrix from the Atomic King Mine (Monte Cristo Group), Lower Kane Creek Mining District, San Juan County, Utah, USA. This specimen has Andersonite on both sides of the specimen. The Andersonite is quite fluorescent under all wavelengths (longwave pictured), and glows a more teal-green colour rather than the typical bright fluorescent green of other fluorescent uranium-bearing minerals.
